In OC English, students prepare for the Opportunity Class Reading Test, learning how to approach each type of question that this exam involves. Each week, students alternate between learning each reading question type and doing fortnightly writing practice, in order to prepare them for the Selective Schools Writing Exam and develop the necessary writing skills for school and NAPLAN. Every lesson students undertake a short assessment task focusing on either reading or writing. In the final two weeks of the term, students do a full OC Reading Test paper. Students also complete fortnightly homework exams.
Talent 100 helps ambitious students aiming to excel academically, with high-achieving tutors and a focus on Opportunity Class, Selective Schools, and top ATARs in the HSC.
