Students test their mastery of the concepts presented through a short quiz. Real time feedback is given to identify areas for further practice.

Supported Study Time
Students are able to focus on schoolwork and assessments with the support of the tutor. The tutor will help students to work through any assessment tasks or run additional practice questions based on what the students are learning at school, so they can really maximise their classroom marks.

Dymocks Term 1
Students study Module 1 - Kinematics and an introduction to Module 2 - Dynamics. In these modules, students learn about how to both qualitatively and quantitatively describe and explain motion. This equips them with the basic skills necessary to analyse all kinds of physical system. View the lesson plan
Dymocks Term 2
Students study Module 2 - Dynamics. In thIs modules, students continue studying vital concepts of the physics of motion including forces, friction, work, momentum and energy. This deepens their understanding and skills at analysing systems across the full range of physics. View the lesson plan
Dymocks Term 3
Students study Module 3 - Waves and Thermodynamics. In this module, students learn about how energy can be transferred through space and between objects, both as waves and as heat. This equips them to understand the nature and behaviour of a wide range of phenomena including light, sound and temperature. View the lesson plan

Students study Module 4 - Electricity and Magnetism. In this module, students learn about two fundamental and interrelated forces of nature – electricity and magnetism. This equips them for future study of physics, as well as deepening their understanding of two vital phenomena at the heart of the modern world and technology View the lesson plan
