Maths Extension 1 is an advanced level maths course typically undertaken by students who are looking to study courses requiring higher-level maths at university. Maths Extension 1 is essential background knowledge for courses involving Engineering and Advanced Mathematics.
In HSC Maths Extension 1, students learn about Functions, Trigonometry, Calculus, Vectors, Financial Mathematics, Proofs, and Statistics.
You do not need to concurrently enrol in Maths Advanced and Maths Extension 1 at Dymocks Tutoring since the Maths Advanced content is covered alongside the Maths Extension 1 material during the lesson.
Students are encouraged to bring their schoolwork to class to get questions answered by their tutor.
Students will need to have completed Year 11 Maths Extension 1. They must also be studying HSC Maths Advanced at school since HSC Maths Advanced is essential knowledge for the Maths Extension 1 course.
